Hasami Porcelain's All Round Exceptional Practicality and Attention to Detail
Born under the direction of Takuhiro Shinomoto, his innovative vision was to organically bring together modern tableware design with traditional Japanese manufacturing techniques. Integrating 4 key elements - Tactility, Simplicity, Usability, and Individuality.
Hasami began their porcelain craft almost 400 years ago during the Edo period, distributing their collection throughout Japan and the rest of Europe. The craft originated in the historic town of Nagasaki Prefecture, situated just off the west coast of Japan's mainland
Hasami Porcelains' clean curved lines show off a minimal and smart aesthetic whilst practicality and functionality are equally nested in their design. The brands' collection varies between plates, bowls, mugs, and trays all with a distinctly soft and smooth texture.
Each of the pieces is finished off with a matte or gloss glaze for an organic yet modern touch. The whole collection is made with very specific dimensions, allowing the collection to be stacked with ease and efficiency of storage.
